why is it important to donate organs other than the reason because we can save more lives?

Answer:
For starters, you won't die quicker.Medical staff would never "hurry" someone's demise so they could transplant organs. Infact, they make sure that the organs are very well maintained after or during death. As for another reason to donate. I couldnt think of a better reason than saving more lives. Perhaps personal satisfaction before death that the persons death will not be in vain. That through their death they are giving a second chance to others. I know that during the process of death a person would have a million other things on their mind. But perhaps it would help ease the emotional state. Of course that is if a person had the oppertunity to clarify their wishes before death.
you could die quicker
Shocking question. Do you need another reason?!
Saving lives is the reason for organ transplants.
The other answerers focused on donation after death, but you could donate your blood, your bone marrow (even your liver or kidney) while you are still alive.
