why is Bifidobacterium longum a "friendly bacteria"?

please be specific with your answer thanks =]
Answer:
Hum google is a wonderful source, but i would suppose it's related to E. Coli, which lives in your small intestine and helps you metabolize vitamins, as well as keeping other, more deadly bacteria out. I'm of course reffering to a specific type of E. Coli, as some are very deadly.
It plays well with others...
i dunno. why dont you do your own homework?
A Comensal, BTW, Most "E. coli" Are Harmless, and Live in (Normally) In the Large Intestine, One is Associated With HUS, Serotype, O157:H1.
