Why is healthcare confined to the country you live in?

if i leave the country i will no longer be elligible for the health care i receive, whats up with that...i should be able to walk into any doctor or hospital anywhere in the world and be able to receive treatment for little to no cost, so should everyone else
Answer:
u can go into any hospital or doctor in the world and rec. tx but you will pay for it.. unless u are an immigrant in America and then you don't have to.. I can't even leave the state of AR and get my medicaid for pay for it..I have Medicare too and they pay anywhere but then If I am in the hospital in TN or MO I have to pay the other 30 or 40 % out of my pocket because Medicaid will not cover it. Just be glad if you have health coverage..A lot of americans who DESPERATELY need it can't get it or afford it.
Every hospital and doctor's office in the world would have to be familiar (and agree) with your insurance company's terms, and they don't have time in Liberia to read an insurance policy from the USA. If you are leaving the country, there are many credit card companies that will pay your doctor's bill if you get sick in a foreign country.
Beats me. I don't know why anyone would want to be a doctor these days.
